The Grand Budapest Hotel

If anyone needs me tonight, I'll be at the movie theater with my friends to see The Grand Budapest Hotel. Written and directed by the amazing Wes Anderson, with a little help from artist Hugo Guinness, the "complex caper" film is jam packed with celebrities and the fanciful world we've come to expect from Wes. The original inspiration was the book The World of Yesterday by Stefan Zweig that recalls his belle epoch travels through Vienna, Paris, Berlin, and London, a world that he lamented no longer existed. No wonder Wes was inspired. His films always seem to yearn for other eras. Make sure you also pick up the WSJ magazine on Saturday to read their great cover story with the fantastic Mr. Anderson. Bon weekend!
