Pretty in Pink: Part Deux

Long time readers will remember my aversion to pink.  Well, this awful winter has left even me longing for the cheerful affect of a little color. I actually fell in love with a pink jacket from J.Crew when I saw it at their presentation last year.  It turned out to be a very expensive Collection item so I jumped at the chance to pick up the more reasonably priced lightweight wool Ludlow Blazer this weekend. It looks a little lilac in person which is perfect for pairing with Aerin Lilac Path perfume that smells like spring. I was a little nervous when J.Crew announced that they were using new denim for all their jeans but the new Matchstick Jeans fit even better than the old ones. I've only been able to pull out my tweed Chanel ballet flats a few times in the last couple of months so I can't wait for extended warmer weather to wear them all the time.  My birthday is coming up next month and I already splurged on the pink and gold ring at Oscar de la Renta. I purchased the last one in the store and don't see it online anymore but the Resin Rose Ring would be a lovely alternative. My vintage Chanel purse from Rice and Beans Vintage is my new favorite bag and I can't believe I found a Diana Vreeland looking necklace at the brocante in Paris.  I'm still wearing my Tom Ford tortoise sunglasses but I have my eye on a pale pink pair of sunglasses from Celine.  They might have to be my next early birthday present. In the interest of "if you buy it, spring will come" of course.
